    Hi, i am pretty new to RetroPie 2.0. I had 1.0 before with a logitech Rumblepack II controller that worked like a charm. Easy to configure all emulators with the controller and so on.

    So i bought a new Raspberry PI, Xbox 360 Wireless Controller.

    Emulation Station 2.3 installed

    First: ES finds my controller No problems i press
    up, down, left, right, start, select, ….

    The meny works with no problems at all.

    I Press F4 and type

    sudo chown pi /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
    cd /opt/retropie/emulators/RetroArch/installdir/bin
    sudo ./retroarch-joyconfig -j 1 >> /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg

    I do everything it says
    B
    Y
    Up
    down
    and
    so
    on

    Reboot

    The meny still works very good in ES

    Starting Super Mario (snes)
    … B load save state
    … Y Save a new state
    … LR jumps
    … Joystick left button moves right
    … D-pad exit the emulator

    What is wrong!?

    Before i did the
    sudo chown pi /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
    cd /opt/retropie/emulators/RetroArch/installdir/bin
    sudo ./retroarch-joyconfig -j 1 >> /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg

    was it even worse :p
    Joypad left moved right
    Joypad Right moved left
    Down d-pad jumped and fires in mega man for example.

    Can you explain for a newbie what i should do?.. Should i return the Xbox controller and get a wired? :(

    Thanks

    Ok

    Nintendo 8-bit – Works fine.. better then fine. Very good
    D-pad – Moves
    A B = A B
    Start = Start
    Select = Select
    L1 = exit emulator

    Snes,Playstatiom. Genesis, N64
    D-Pad – Moves
    A works
    X works
    B – Save state
    Y – Load State
    L1 = Exit emualtor

    Only Nes that works without a single problem.
