    hello does anyone know how i can record gameplay on my pi 2?

    i tried using tightvnc but that doesn’t work in emulationstation it just spits out some errors.

    There are capture cards that will essentially pull the video output from your TV (but those can be expensive) otherwise I haven’t looked that hard past tightvnc (which I got the same results as you). Floob may know since he makes some good videos of his gameplay

    alright thanks for the reply i’ve seen some capture cards for hdmi but they are very expensive, i have an ezcap which uses composite cables but since the b+ the audio and composite has merged and the capture cards composite doesnt seem to plug in properly.

    For reference, if I capture gameplay or EmulationStation I use an Elgato.

    I use the HDMI port to capture it.
