My friend’s retropie freezes when emulationstation starts. How can I go straight to the command prompt so we can edit the cfg file? TIA.

Cannot set up ssh right now. F4 doesn’t work, I think because ES freezes or doesn’t really start.

If you can’t set up ssh I can’t really advise further. Why not ?

I cannot set up ssh because I haven’t got it connected to a network. We did manage to get it working now. We connected it to a monitor with a smaller draw. My theory is the size of the monitor creates a type of draw on the RP2. The larger the monitor the more processing power it’s using up. The smaller the monitor, the less proc power. It’s happened to me several times now this just confirms it to me. Strange.
