    I just read that you can hide the whole booting process of the raspberry pi with a splash image. Is there a similar way to hide the rom loading process? Like if you choose a game in emulationstation it shows you a picture before the rom starts instead of the terminallooking loading process. Its probably really complicated but is there a way to do that? It would really improve the game console feeling of the Retropie.

    I’d say it’s at least a good idea for the “ideas for further enhancements” forum here. While I understand the need to be able to see errors and progress, I do also understand the end users desire to see menus etc switch cleanly.

    I don’t mind either way, but it could be good to have an option available. Post it up, see if the developer thinks it worthwhile. :)
