Help With Xbox Controller Button Editing

I have succesfully been able to get the xbox controller to work for Emulation Stations and Emulators. I now need help on changing different buttons for different emulators and adding a save, load and exit buttons on the controller.

how did you get it to work in emulators? i still cant use my wireless 360 pad in emulators

I used the newest image and i installed the xbox drivers and then setup the retroarch controller and then it works. sorta. i need to change the button configs but do not know how.
