Hello everyone, I created a gui for prboom / prboom plus that allows the player to set the game settings (such as OpenGL, sounds, music, joystick, keyboard and mouse). gBooM also lets you download from the web the most important episodes (wads) of doom in full version (at your own risk) or shareware. Besides these you can also download the most famous mod as, for example, TNT, Plutonia 1/2, etc. Ultimate Doom. or initiate other wads previously dumped at a store of your choice. The prograamma is written in Gambas (an open source clone of Visual Basic), which should also work on raspberry. Cute would be able to have it in the programs included in Retropie. Meanwhile I’m working on a native port of Windows / Mac / Linux x86-64 / Linux Arm. The software can be downloaded from sourceforge at:

    gBooM Sourceforge Download Page

for those who want to experiment with Raspbian must first install prboom, Gambas, and GTK +

then you have to download the source and compile the eguibile from its raspberry.

If someone succeeds in can contact me at my email address davide.cusano@gmail.com

The software is localized in Italian but a voice will guide you in English, even driving and tooltips are written in English.

Here you can see gBooM 0.9.4 in action on Ubuntu 14.10 64bit
