    I´m tryng to add my old gamelist.xml from an older version of retropie.
    The wiki says that gamelist.xml are allocated on

    /home/pi/.emulationstation/gamelists
    or
    /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/gamelists

    https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/scraper

    It only has empty gamelist.xml or gamelist.xml with shows roms which i have tested.

    Here is my mame-4all gamelist.xml

    <?xml version=”1.0″?>
    <gameList />

    I have 2000 roms on the rom folder and i can run all of them.

    Well , when i delete or add a new .xml and I restart emulationstation it doesnt change anything.
    It only shows the name of the roms into the rom folder.
    Where is the xml who tells emulationstation which roms are in the folder??

    I do not know if you know but you have to leave the emulatiostation (f4) before overwriting the gamelist.xml.
