Novice Retropie user upgraded from 3.3 to 3.5 and have run into a killer hurdle. After upgrading from 2.x to 3.0 I first ran into this issue but simply followed the below post and was able to fix.

    POST

However, it seems I can not get a new version of the fba2x binary from here:

    https://github.com/ian57/Raspicade-configuration-files/blob/master/pifba/fba2x

and replace the original one into the /opt/retropie/emulators/pifba/ directory. Replacing this file worked every time I’ve upgraded, however – because I can’t get a new binary – one that has two players activated – I can’t get the second player rolling.

Background – I’ve had a working two-player version of FBA rolling for months – so it is not the ipac or config issue. Can it just be this Binary and if s, can anyone point me in the direction of obtaining one?

    Thanks.

Found one. If anyone knows – why is this such an issue?
