Failed to save SRAM

Hi!

When I exit a game, like Donkey Kong Country for example, I get a message that says: “failed to save sram”
“Attempting to recover”
“Succeded in saving RAM data to “/home/pi/RetroArch-recovery-02014-10-22-11-15-45”

I exit the game cleanly but when I start the game again no progress is saved. What’s wrong?

Finally got it to work.

It was a combination of not having the right permissions on the roms-folder and when that was corrected, I didn’t play the game long enough for it to save :p

Im having the same issue. Could you tell me what you changed your permissions to?
Im assuming u mean the home/RetroPie/roms folder permissions correct?
