My pi was working great, was able to play the games yesterday and today I booted it up and it says retro pie, then it goes to the text, brings up emulation station loading, and then when it should load up the emulators it becomes a white screen. Nothing but a white screen. it did load once but the keyboard did not work and neither did my controllers so I had to unplug the pie instead of shutting it down correctly. Now it just loads to the white screen. Any idea what is going on? Did I mess up the card and have to start over?

    Thanks for any help

Same problem here. If i use the HDMI port i get a whitescreen after the emulation station loading screen, but if i use the composite video output everything works fine. Dont´t know why but you can try it and see if it works for you too.

Just picked up a B+ model and have tried multiple things with the config file and still I get this issue also. Either I get a black screen or a white screen after the emulationstation splash screen shows. I only get this when I hook up HDMI to a tv or my asus computer monitor. Now when I use a HDMI to DVI adapter on my older LCD 15″ ViewSonic screen, it works great! I can’t seem to get it to show video to anything newer? Have you fixed your problem yet?
