    Hi everybody,

i just bought a raspberry pi 1 from amazon nad fired retropie on it.

after a couples days of testing i achieved playable NES,SNES and MAME emulation. Mame is choppy sometimes but playable.

I tested some N64 games and they were slow

Then i tested some psx games (spyro 1,crash team racing, metal gear solid 1) and theyu where reeeeeally slow, unplayable.

i overclocked to turbo but nothing changed!

is there a way to smooth things up? i always used the stock retropie emulators.

My only hope is to upgrade to RPI 2?

    thank you

Here’s a video made by Floob where he compares the perfomrance of the two Pis.

As you can see in the end, the Pi 2 really brings a difference.

Just search for “retropie raspberry pi 2 psx” on youtube. :P

I think the performance is quite good.
