In response to my post about my imaging problem

I downloaded a NEW Image to my 64gb SD card and this works well (I will copy over my roms/BIOS folder etc from my back up)>

HOWEVER I now find there is a partition and only 2gb of the card is accessible in rasp config.

How might i remove this partition through fdisk? I have looked online and when i follow their suggestion on commands “sudo fdisk /dev/mmcblk0” I get an error message.

As always your help is welcomed.

once you have written retropie, you need to resize it after booting using raspi-config – Did you follow https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/First-Installation ?

Yes mate I did…hey Its working a dream now, I removed ALL partitions using DiskPart on Windows, write img, started over and we are in..HOWEVER I fancy upgrading to the latest version of RetroPie now, can I do this (easily) via the EmulationStation system or do i have to do the whole img thing again do you know?

    Cheers for the reply.
