    Hi,

Here is a quick video showing how you configure a USB controller with MAME within EmulationStation/RetroPie
As its different to the RetroArch config I thought it may help some people.

Which file does Mame write the changes to?
I accidentally mapped the config menu from TAB to none, so I can’t access it anymore.
    Thanks!

    In RetroPie 3 its in:
    /opt/retropie/configs/mame-mame4all/cfg/default.cfg

The video helped immensely, but I cannot save the config file permanently.. I went into the /opt/retropie/configs/mame4all/cfg directory but there is no default.cfg in there… I am assuming its a chmod issue? I dont want to change too many things if this isnt the case.. anyone have any ideas on why it wont save config on exit?

    Edit: on retropie v3.0

    chmod 777 on /opt/retropie/configs/mame4all/cfg

thanks!! hope this helps someone later on..
