    I want to make it so you dont see the message stating “Press joyspad-0 to configure xxx” between picking a game from the gameslist and the game actually starting.

    I want the functionality to still be there, I just don’t want anything to show. How do I accomplish this?

    Also, is there a way to make an exit button for the games in ports that don’t exit via select+start?

    Despite what it says, I believe it works. This removes Boot text and text between ES and Game. Try it and see what happens

    I did that, it just removes the orginal terminal messages when firing up the system. I need to remove the little bit between ES and game. Thanks though lilbud.

    You have to edit /etc/profile.d/10-emulationstation.sh so it reads

    [ “tty” = “/dev/tty1” ] && clear && emulationstation > /dev/null 2>&1
