Black screen and return to emulator after load a rom

(I got my roms from a NAS HD and Retropie is able to see it from the boot without problem)
When I load a rom, it goes to the load screen and then back to the emulator.
I did the same with a shared folder in a computer and, when I did, the emulator was able to load the rom
Why can happened this? maybe it’s because a big delay when the emulator try to read the rom from the NAS that makes the emulator ends the action?
I tried with the by deffaul gb emulator
