Would really BBC Micro Added to Retropie
Looks like you can manually add it here:
http://haprpi.blogspot.co.uk/p/the-bbc-lives.html?m=1Ive manually added Beebem following haprpi’s guide in the link. At the moment there’s no way to create a save state with Beebem operating under RetroPie as the GUI crashes the pi. It works under the desktop though. There’s a thread about it somewhere in this forum.
This thread explains what’s going on:
try this https://muffinresearch.co.uk/ubuntu-installing-the-beebem-bbc-micro-emulator/
Can this not be added to Retropie as experimental
I may take a run at adding it to my experimental repo sometime in the next day or two. Also, I think I have a way around the crashes.
I haven’t been able to test the emulator itself at the moment (so Beebem exists in its own testing branch in my repo) but I have a script to install it. I created a repository with the patches from the thread you linked already applied.
My “way around the crashes” is not included in this.
Please give it a test and let me know how it goes.

I got absolutely zero feedback on this. I finally got around to testing it and have it fully functional aside from loading the game from the command line. For best results, set your screen to something like 640×480 and go ahead and load your game from the F12 setup menu. It will not crash as we’re running under X.
I’ve updated it in my repo. It will be in the beebem branch until I figure out the command line issue.
You have sound working with Beebem, launched from within Emulationstation? Or launched from the desktop?
And does the disk selector in the menu work without crashing?
