Atari 800 / 5200 Need start and Exit keys mapped to controller

I have an Xbox 360 wired controller. I’d like to be able to start games and exit them from the Atari800 emulator. However start is mapped to F4 and exit is mapped to F9. I checked the setup wiki for this computer and there is no information there on how to map it to a joystick properly. I really want to have a keyboardless setup. If anyone can help me out I’d really appreciate it!

Same here…the one bummer so far is lack of proper 5200 and Colecovision support. Maybe soon. It would be sweet to see retroarch cores for both. Herb mention this might be possible through a shell script but I’m ignorant.
