    I am running some games using Advmame in Retropie 3.0 and when I hit “TAB” to enter the config menu and make any changes, the changes take affect while playing the game. When I exit the game and go back to Emulation Station and start the game again, the settings were not saved. Any idea how to fix this?

    Searching has not helped and I am at wits end. I did create a cfgs directory in the Opt/retropie/configs/mame-advmame folder as a possible solution I found, but that did not work.
