    Hi:
I already have retropie on a 16GB micro sd but, it isn’t enough for a nice size game library for all the emulators. Will the 256gb card work at all? Is it easier to just transfer my retropie setup from the 16gb card to the 256gb or should I just start fresh? It just seems like I can’t have many games at all on a 16. I have the B+ model.

Here is a list of supported SD cards. The biggest among them is 128GB.

You can always try it out but there are no guaranties.
Also I recommend to use Win32diskimager to make a clone of your SD card.

I use a 128gb and it has been working great for over a year now.
