On July 30, 2025, the U.S. Executive Order “Suspending Duty-Free De Minimis Treatment For All Countries” came into effect. This removes the previous duty exemption for low-value packages and introduces new procedural requirements that are still being defined by U.S. Customs and the United States Postal Service. I think this has something to do with gamelist.xml files. If I delete or add roms via ssh the gamelist file can not reconcile with missing games and Emulation Station freezes. The issue resolves itself when I delete the gamelist file.
