Try to start linapple with sudo or change the es_systems.cfg: <command>sudo /opt/retropie/emulators/linapple-src_2a/Start.sh</command>
sudo
<command>sudo /opt/retropie/emulators/linapple-src_2a/Start.sh</command>
That works for me (RetroPie-Image 2.3).
