ParticipantGreat work on the themes. I’m currently working on one that looks similar to yours, although I don’t really know how to make the themes from scratch so it’s just using other themes as a base, haha.
Have you thought about adding 3D box art (http://www.theoldcomputer.com/game-box-art-covers/Nintendo/NES/3D-Boxart/1943%20-%20The%20Battle%20of%20Midway%20%28USA%29.png) and an open box (similar to the screenshots in your second post) for metadata to the space below the snapshot? I actually wouldn’t mind doing that for the theme I’m using, but not sure how to do it.
If you decide to do Sega, here is a pack of Genesis title screens that I made for my set if you would like to use them. There are a bit over 600 snapshots, none of the sizes have been changed, so they’re the default resolution the emulator puts out.

ParticipantThat works. Thanks a lot.
Great job on the theme, my favorite one so far.

ParticipantI’m currently using your “bigshot” theme and I’m wondering how difficult it would be to add a small section underneath the snapshot that displays the genre only. Is this something that can be done without getting too messy?

ParticipantNo luck with the previous suggestion. It just changes it to “01/01/XXXX”. After looking it up a bit, it seems it’s hard-coded into EmulationStation. One would think something so simple would have some sort of workaround, though.

ParticipantThat’s what I figured after looking at everyone’s different themes. Thanks for the response.
