    N64 is so much louder than my other systems. Is there any way to lower the default audio volume?

    I’m still getting nowhere with trying to solve this. It seems that n64 audio is set to 100% all the time no matter what. Even if I turn the System Volume in emulation station to 0 the n64 audio is unaffected.

    not using the omx plugin now.

    the SDL audio driver has volume control though – you could try it

    configs/n64/mupen64plus.cfg

    change AudioPlugin to mupen64plus-audio-sdl.so

    Will changing from OMX to SDL affect performance at all? What’s the difference between the two?
