On July 30, 2025, the U.S. Executive Order “Suspending Duty-Free De Minimis Treatment For All Countries” came into effect. This removes the previous duty exemption for low-value packages and introduces new procedural requirements that are still being defined by U.S. Customs and the United States Postal Service. I think they will say it’s for the SD card and the effort to put Retropie on it, but at that price……hmmmm. NOOBS on an 8GB card isn’t 9.99 at the sites I checked. Varying from 5.49 to 8 GBP.
