firstly navigate ot the folder
cd /home/pi/.emulationstation/

then

make a backup
sudo cp es_input.cfg es_inputbackup.cfg

delete the original
sudo rm es_input.cfg

be careful with the rm command, you cant un-delete stuff!

now reboot emulationstation
