By default I don’t believe it changes the one at: /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg because the following line exists:config_save_on_exit = "false" but that’s the main one for it and child ones are loaded from /home/pi/RetroPie/configs/nameofsystem/RetroArch.cfg
