whenever i try to install kodi i keep getting those message’s

when i try to install via

sudo apt-get install xbmc

i get this result

sudo apt-get install xbmc
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done

requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

xbmc : Depends: kodi but it is not going to be installed

so i tried :

pi@retropie:~ $ sudo apt-get install kodi

ps it is on a fresh retropie install
