nvm fixed it.

on 3.0 beta 3 its just a matter of copying dot.glsl into /shader-files and then editing the gb-shader.glslp thusly:

shader0 = shader-files/dot.glsl

then set your shader as normal in retroarch.cfg, or using the in-emu retroarch gui menu.
