    Hello,
I’m new to Raspberry Pies, and just bought a Pi 2 the other day. My first project is going to be a Retropie. Of All the videos and information I have found about downloading the RetroPie image, non of them suggest downloading via BitTorrent (I barely even know what that is) they all show just downloading the image. But when I went to download the image a few minutes ago, only the BitTorrent image is available..why is this? Am I missing something? Is there any difference?
Sorry for being a complete noob..
    Thanks for your help!
    DD

The magnet link is for torrenting- it generally will download faster that way but you’ll need a client such as bittorrent or utorrent. as for the direct download:
its the giant green button that says download…
    this is the direct link
    http://downloads.petrockblock.com/images/retropie-v3.0beta2-rpi2.img.gz

its possible if you have a javascript blocker that it might not show up. But as of right now when I navigate to this page https://www.petrockblock.com/retropie/retropie-downloads/retropie-project-sd-card-image-for-raspberry-pi-2-version-3-0-beta-2/ the big green button is there.

I must have a Java script blocker somewhere, im at work. My iMac, MacBook(booted in windows and Mac), ipad all show the same thing. I’ve tried different browsers too. Only the magnet link for Torrent Download shows.
I’ll look again on my personal laptop when I get home and follow your link.
    Thanks for your help.
