Try this:

sudo nano /etc/usbmount/usbmount.conf

Find the line:

FS_MOUNTOPTIONS=""

Change it to:

FS_MOUNTOPTIONS="-fstype=vfat,flush,gid=plugdev,dmask=0007,fmask=0117"

Let me know the result.
