    hello i was able to get the alternative kernel method working with retrolink to usb. followed this https://www.petrockblock.com/forums/topic/retrobit-usb-genesis-adapter-driver-install/#post-81793

    but now I face the problem with adding 2nd player support..
    player 1 works fine
    player 2 doesnt.

    sudo nano /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg

    input_player1_a = x
    input_player1_b = z
    input_player1_y = a
    input_player1_x = s
    input_player1_start = enter
    input_player1_select = rshift
    input_player1_l = q
    input_player1_r = w
    input_player1_left = left
    input_player1_right = right
    input_player1_up = up
    input_player1_down = down

    (i added this entry below into my retroarch.cfg file)
    at a loss on how to fix this.

    input_player2_a = x
    input_player2_b = z
    input_player2_y = a
    input_player2_x = s
    input_player2_start = enter
    input_player2_select = rshift
    input_player2_l = q
    input_player2_r = w
    input_player2_left = left
    input_player2_right = right
    input_player2_up = up
    input_player2_down = down

    I went into the Retropie-Setup and the setup.sh file and plugged my 2nd player into the system setup retro arch controller and now my 2nd player is first player so this file i was modifying has nothing to do with the key mapping.
