I’ve scrapped whole 300+ MAME ROMs I’ve collected over times on my Pi.

Now my few games got scrapped with incorrect games. Now when I edit it, and ‘save’ it and reboot the machine. My edit never saved.

    Tried editing

    # autosave_interval =

    to

    # autosave_interval = 5

No luck here. I did try restarting emulationstation by

Main Menu > Quit > Restart System

My edit to the metadata didn’t save, still.

In reference to this post: https://www.petrockblock.com/forums/topic/pifba-meta-data-auto-resetting-after-reboot/

Try choosing “Quit Emulationstation” instead of restarting. Hopefully this will write your modified entries.

    I can’t find the solution :(
I have made a great setup, I figure out every single issue that I had and i can’t find the solution for this little thing…
I tried the 2.4 version but no luck.

If I exit es and then shut down from cli it works, but the thing is that I don’t want to use keyboard to my Bartop. I just want to shutdown from es menu…
