Hey Guys,

I’ve got an issue with Retropie since installing v3.6 and was wondering if a kind soul out there might point me in the right direction.

Basically, installed a fresh image, booted it up, loaded the xboxdrv from retropie setup within emulationstation. Configured it for 4 controllers, then rebooted again. Could then map the buttons for emulationstation fine for navigation around the menu, however it was mapped as “Gamepad 3”. So whenever I loaded a game, no buttons worked as it was registered as the third pad!!! So, disabled and re-enabled the xbox driver once more, with 2 controllers selected this time. Now after a reboot, it was registered as “Gamepad 2”!! Loaded a game (Street fighter) and a single player game loaded up for player 2!! Hence I just want it enabled as the primary controller, and the others for multiplay thereafter respectively. Changed settings in rc.local, followed the wiki guide “Setting up xbox controller”, all to no avail.

Sorry to go on, but just wanted all the details in there. Again, any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
