    I have a 7″ RCA screen in Portrait. I have added the rotation of 90 degrees to the config.txt. Is there a way for the pi to auto rotate back to 0 if the HDMI is plugged in?

    Another possibility;
    It is possible to have a menu option, raspi-config or boot up script that gives the option to rotate the screen (edits config.txt by commenting out my rotation line) and reboots???
