    Hi all

    I have the latest RetroPie installed on a Pie2. Running only Mame ROMs at the moment under Advmame

    With some of the ROMs I have ran, the screen will randomly go black for a couple of seconds (the game is still running), then come back on

    I have a Picade set up with the 8″ screen, the Pi is not overclocked and memory is split to 512 for the GPO

    Any advice is appreciated

    I had a similar issue with my 2-player bartop setup. In my case, the problem was with my video cable. I had a HDMI cable connected to a DVI adapter connected to my monitor. When I replaced the cable & adapter with a proper HDMI/DVI cable, the problem cleared up.
