    Hello, about a month ago I posted about using my gamepad to control Kodi and tried a ‘fix’ which broke my emulator controls but fixed kodi.

    I was told by someone that use Gamepad support flag needed to be enabled when compiling retropie and they were waiting for a stable version of kodi to be released.

    Now Stable 15.1 is out is this now going to be a possibility?

    I cant find my original post so sorry for this post but it was someone who creates the retropie images that replied to me.

    It really just depends on how the repo was compiled. I’m pretty sure its disabled by default. Once its updated and it still isn’t enabled then we’ll have to look at compiling it ourselves.

    Perhaps I miss understood the repkys I got previously because I thought they said retropie gamepad was not set by default. How do I update kodi manually? I’ll test 15.1

    But I know for sure that this build is not compiled with joypad support, so its not worth testing if that’s what you’re looking for.

    This is the repo that will be automatically updated (hopefully sometime soon)

    But I also think its compiled without joypad support.

    i wonder if there is any harsh in compiling kodi with joypad support, since mostly build for Rpi doesn’t get it.

    Yes there is a game pad flag that needs to be enabled, sadly i have NO idea how to compile it :-/

    Was kinda hoping and expert from here would know/ do it.

    Its on the to do list but may be a while before we sort it out. Here are some notes on compiling kodi from source but it’s a doozy.
