    hi, just wondered if animated wallpapers & boot screens are possible?
    if so how can i get these running?

    backgrounds is simple.
    you just have to get into the theme, go to a emulator background, replace it with a gif, and update the theme.xml.

    Dont think emulationstation supports animated gifs
