On July 30, 2025, the U.S. Executive Order “Suspending Duty-Free De Minimis Treatment For All Countries” came into effect. This removes the previous duty exemption for low-value packages and introduces new procedural requirements that are still being defined by U.S. Customs and the United States Postal Service. This issue is fixed now. It started working in all emulators other than nes for me recently, not sure which update. I swapped nes emulator to nestopia and player 2 select and start works in there now as well.
