[quote=111356]You didn’t answer my question – Did you reconfigure the splashscreen from the splashscreen settings in retropie-setup ? If you have updated from a version prior to some splashscreen changes you will need to reconfigure it.
menu 3 in retropie-setup – Configure Splashscreen, then choose a splashscreen.
Not as far as I know I updated the setup script, then when I didn’t see the splash screen went back into retropie setup, then splash screen option hit update splash screens then chose one from the list and restarted again with no luck. Sounds like I need to set it up after updating it then? How would I go about that, I’d say that’s why it’s still trying to grab the old splash screen directory.slayerParticipant12/06/2015 at 23:41Post count: 20
Not sure on the version think it was from may this year, I did go through the retropie setup menu from ES, but this happened after I ran update setup script then did a re start and apon load up no more splash screen and you can see (very quickly) in the code that it couldn’t find the splash screen to loadslayerParticipant12/01/2015 at 23:30Post count: 20
I think they must as I have tried to pair both of them and only one will work at a time, I can still plug one in and that works fine, thought I would be able to hook up another Bluetooth dongle and hookup to that. There’s a few mobs on ebay selling them with longer usb dongles plug them both in and run replica controls, not sure if it’s Bluetooth or infared maybe?slayerParticipant12/01/2015 at 06:14Post count: 20
Is there a way to connect two Bluetooth dongles and run two controllers? I tried plugging in two dongles but they seem to half work, only one controller pairs but the dongle act like I’m pairing to both of them as they both flash, maybe I need to setup the dongle so they know there separate?slayerParticipant11/21/2015 at 18:10Post count: 20slayerParticipant11/20/2015 at 20:40Post count: 20slayerParticipant11/20/2015 at 11:18Post count: 20
That’s what I did install/pair then it will do its thing and come up with a message saying to connect controller via usb etc etc hit ok, restart and load into ES then disconnect cable and press p3 button wait few seconds and it should be ok, if not go to menu and configure control and it should say 1 gameplay detected then press and hold p3 button ☺slayerParticipant11/19/2015 at 23:42Post count: 20
[quote=110268]Good to here it is running! Gasia hack + led support is broken at the moment and i don’t know if it can be fixed.
Even if it can’t that’d fine as long as it works I don’t need the LED lights to tell me what player I am ☺ thanks again for helping us out with this issue.slayerParticipant11/19/2015 at 10:10Post count: 20
My fault. You need to checkout another branch. Please try…
mkdir test cd test git clone --depth=1 https://github.com/gizmo98/RetroPie-Setup.git cd RetroPie-Setup git pull git checkout ps3-gasia-hack sudo ./retropie_setup.sh
Champion,I did all that and didn’t think it worked, when I unplugged the control then pressed the p3 button it flashed all four lights fast and then went to a slower flash and just kept flashing then I tried the controls and they work perfectly, not sure how two controls will go but shouldn’t be too much of an issue hopefully, thanks heaps for the help mate.slayerParticipant11/15/2015 at 04:31Post count: 20slayerParticipant11/11/2015 at 19:34Post count: 20slayerParticipant11/10/2015 at 07:41Post count: 20slayerParticipant11/10/2015 at 04:28Post count: 20slayerParticipant11/10/2015 at 02:47Post count: 20
