    Still no good.. Same problem.

I thought it might have something to do with the hotkey but it doesn’t. I’ve tryed hitting x when having my hotkey button pressed in aswell but no good. as soon as I enter the game keyboard starts working again. It feels so random but I know there must be an answer some where..

[quote=96855]Thats odd. Does it work if no other devices are connected to the USB ports?
Have you tried a different keyboard?

Well, this gets even stranger I’m afraid. So, this seems totally random, I’ve been trying to experiment a way to find out how this happens but it seems totally random.

I get 2 different types of inputs with my wireless xbox 360 controllers. With the first and most common the up-down-left-right arrows become h0up h0down h0left h0right. With this setup only 2 controllers work, player 3 wireless controller shuts off and doesnt get playable. When this happens My Keyboard works as it should all the way.

What I do then is pull the wireless reciever in and out of the PI until setup 2 occures where the arrows isntead become 0 1 2 3. Then All my controllers work BUT the situation occures with the keyboard not wokring in terminal..

I HATE randomness with computing so this is frustrating the hell out of me.. Any ideas what lies behind this??

    Thanks for helping!

Did we get anywhere with this ??

I can’t for the life of me get some games to work properly because of this Audio Warning: Audio Buffer under run(1-infinity) error..

    Should be doable..

I have the exact same problem and I have no clue how to solve it.. It seems to controllers port that the wireless controller gets directed to changes when one reboots. So if I boot and the controller isnt working I reboot until it does.. Would love the get better details on this.

I am using 2 controllers so usually one is working.. But the randomness and the uglyness of my solution is making me cry. Can anybody shed some light on this ?

I can add that I get this text when I try to configure the input buttons via retropie-setup.ssh

Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) #2 (0000:0000) on port #1.
RetroArch: udev_add_pad: [udev]: Pad #1 (/dev/input/event4) supports 0 force feedback effects.
RetroArch: udev_add_pad: [udev]: Plugged pad: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) (0000:0000) on port #2.
RetroArch: udev_add_pad: [udev]: Pad #2 (/dev/input/event7) supports 0 force feedback effects.
RetroArch: udev_add_pad: [udev]: Plugged pad: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) #2 (0000:0000) on port #3.
RetroArch: udev_add_pad: [udev]: Pad #3 (/dev/input/event8) supports 0 force feedback effects.
RetroArch: udev_add_pad: [udev]: Plugged pad: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver) #3 (0000:0000) on port #4.
RetroArch: udev_add_pad: [udev]: Pad #4 (/dev/input/event9) supports 0 force feedback effects.
RetroArch: input_joypad_init_first: Found joypad driver: “udev”.
    Found joypad driver: udev
Using joypad: Xbox Gamepad (userspace driver)

Don’t see that in any other guide? Something wrong there?

Also I want to add that I just tryed fifa 97 and when selecting 2 player and team my one remote moved both slides on the screen where one is supposed to be moved by 1 controller. Instead my 1 remote moved both and my second controller does noooothing.. Also very strange..

Edit: Okey, now confirmed that when I play 2 player game I move both characters with same controller..

Heya. I used that page myself. Tried all options. I get one running and my second one gets detected. It works fine with jstest.

I even get to setup the keys with ./retroarch-joyconfig -o /opt/retropie/configs/all/p2.cfg -p 2 -j 1 and then add those settings in to retroarch.cfg

but then nothing works. Actually the only time I get one remote to work is when I do the configuration via sudo ./retropie_setup.sh

after configuring one input there one of the controllers get playable but not the other. And it’s only always one controller that gets detexted and that can get setup at all. and there is no option to choose inbetween the controllers. Very strange… as I said I look forward for you to shed some light on this. highly appreciated.

I’m also running Raspberry pi 2. Having no issues with lack of power..
    peace

Hello. Sorry for hijacking the thread a bit but I’ve been trying to make 2 controllers work for the past 3 hours without success.. How did you guys do it?

I’ve followed all the ways on this site https://github.com/retropie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Setting-up-the-XBox360-controller but nothing works. I can get one controller working that’s it. As soon as I try to configure inputs via sudo ./retropie_setup.sh it only allowes me to do it through one controller. the other one gets ignored.

Mind you they both work for getting around in emulationstation and also they are both actice via jtest in /dev/inputs

    Any ideas? THanks
